Traveling to Münster
Coming by plane: Even though Münster has its own small airport (Airport Münster/Osnabrück), we suggest you fly to the airports Düsseldorf or Cologne/Bonn.
Connections from Düsseldorf Airport to Münster:
- Düsseldorf Airport has its own train station (“Düsseldorf Flughafen“).
- You may take the train RE2 direction Münster main station (“Münster Hauptbahnhof or “Münster Hbf”)
- Duration from Düsseldorf to Münster approx. 1,5 hours
Connections from Cologne/Bonn Airport to Münster:
- Cologne/Bonn Airport has its own train station as well (“Köln/Bonn Flughafen”).
- You may take the trains S13 or S19 (direction “Düren“).
- Change in Cologne central station (Köln Hauptbahnhof or Köln Hbf).
- From there please take the train RE7 direction “Münster“ or “Rheine“.
- Duration from Cologne/Bonn to Münster approx. 2,5 hours
To travel more comfortably and faster you can book an IC or ICE -tickets. Please keep in mind that this saves you only 20 minutes time and is more expensive.

Coming by bus: You can also use different long-distance buses to get to Münster from other European Cities. You may find offers for example at Eurolines or Flixbus
